Hello, I’m Doe, 20, and looking for Marvel roleplays. I write for Loki and I’m looking to write with pretty much any other character in the Marvel universe, but especially Tony, Steve, Thor, or Jane. I write posts 600-2000 words and am looking for someone who can match that, but I’m very patient when it comes to waiting for posts. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and I’d like to communicate and roleplay there because I’m more used to that than any other platform.
I'm Doe, 20, they/them pronouns, and I live for Marvel roleplays. I live in GMT, but I'm open to writing with anyone, anywhere. I've been roleplaying for something like seven or eight years now, and I've been writing for the Marvel verse for five. I have some comic knowledge, but I mainly roleplay within the MCU. I tend to write between 600 to 2000 words per post, depending on the pace of the roleplay and my partner's preferences. The length of the post generally dictates how quickly I can reply.
I am extremely ditch-friendly and I don’t at all mind waiting for posts, even for months. I’m very patient and I understand that life comes first and that roleplaying is, for most, meant to be a fun pastime. This being said, if you do feel your muse running out, please let me know and we can tweak the plot, start from scratch, or stop writing altogether.
I am living with several mental illnesses and currently a very stressful family situation, so it’s possible (and probable) that I’ll need to take breaks from writing even for weeks at a time. I will provide you with notice if this is the case. If this is a dealbreaker for you, I understand, but please don’t let this sway you. I am a dedicated partner, and I believe a good writer, and I am looking to make things work long term.
Who I Play
I love writing for Loki, and I love to play side characters. I will not double, however, as I find this splits the focus of the roleplay and weakens it as a result. My style has always been to delve deeply into one character at a time, and in this case, it’s Loki. I’ve been playing him for a solid five years now and I’ve done a lot of research and reading to try and make him as true to the character as possible. I’m happy to provide writing samples if desired.
Who I'm Looking For
I'm on the hunt for long-term roleplay partners who can write upwards or around 600-1000 words per post and can help brainstorm throughout the roleplay.
I'm happy to roleplay with individuals who are under 18, but that would mean no smut, if things come to that. I prefer not to have the roleplay focus on smut, as I've found they die off quickly afterwards, but we can discuss more boundaries with smut if things come to that.
I don’t like to have my plots focus around romance, either. If it happens organically then great, but I don’t like having that be the objective. My goal when I write is to create compelling plots and to explore the intricate and interesting relationships between characters.
In terms of characters I'm looking for, I'm open to anything! Other canon characters, rare pairs, OCs, crossovers, etc. My favorite relationships to explore are between Loki and Tony, Loki and Steve, Loki and Thor, and Loki and Jane, but I love exploring all kinds of interactions between all kinds of characters.
Currently, the plots I’m most interested in are anything to do with the Thor: Ragnarok trailers (I have quite a few ideas!) and messing with timelines (be that throwing one character into the past with their current knowledge of situations or time loops or changing the timelines of events). I also love pretty much anything AU. If you have any ideas, please bring them to me! I love hearing what other people want to create in this universe.
I prefer to roleplay over email, so please contact me at email@example.com if you're interested in writing together. I so hope to hear from you. Let's make something marvel-ous! (I'm sorry. I had to.)
|“Time travel is real, and all of history is vulnerable to attack. Which is why we must travel through time to stop the spread of these so-called "time aberrations" and to erase their damage to history. After going back in time to reverse a future created by a mad man, we interacted with our past selves which resulted in a time storm. Now we have to ride it out until it passes so we can set things right.|
We are a team of outcasts and misfits, so please don't call us heroes. We're Legends.”
- Legends of Tomorrow
Los Angeles 2017.
After their adventures in World War I era France the Legends were caught in a time storm. Their ship, the Waverider suffered heavy damage and was forced to ground in 2017 Los Angeles. They quickly discovered that something had gone very wrong.
Dinosaurs from the Cretaceous, the Roman Colosseum and the Great Wall of China all existing in the same place. Cavemen now living down the street from people who should have been from the 31st century. Horse and buggies driving next to Mercedes and everyone acting like there was nothing wrong.
Time was broken. Time is broken; there's nothing that can be done about it. With another time jump being impossible the Legends were forced to spread out to scout the area. One by one each of them was swept up into the time stream, leaving only Gideon.
While relocating the Waverider to safety, Gideon began to pick up signs of aberrations ...

Love As Thou Wilt
Would you like to be a young noble playing the games of thrones or courtship? Or perhaps an adept in the Court of Night-Blooming Flowers, a Cassiline Brother, the Royal Admiral, or a Menekhetan diplomat?
The Kushiel RPG is a play-by-email roleplaying game based on Jacqueline Carey's bestselling Kushiel's Legacy books. We are starting a NEW GAME. This game is set 300 years before the events of Kushiel's Dart. Come join us for intrigue, fetes, assignations, and more!
To play, you must be 18 years or older and join both the Kushiel RPG and Kushiel RPG OOC lists.
I am trying to see if there might be interest in a slice of life OC game set in the 1940's on the cusp of WW2 here at Dreamwidth. Any type of original characters welcome. the ideas are endless. I'm dabbling with a senior in HS and having the game set on the Southern California Coast, but would certainly be willing to have different cities included, as well as European cities. Homefront or Battlefront. Would definitely love to hear any opinions and thoughts on this idea.
Depending on the response I get, it could be a full game, or it could end up just being a PSL that I play with my writing partner because I want this setting so badly!
The winds of Tollanara are beginning to stir with change...
Tollanara has always been a land made up of unique communities (cantrevs) that can be vastly different in terms of population, wealth, production, climate, and governance. One thing that has always bound each cantrev together, however, is the loyalty of each cantrev's leader to the High King.
Some of these subject kings remain in their cantrevs governing their lands year round, but many now have residences in the metropolitan city-state of Caer Athaund where they form the core of the city's noble class and serve the High King directly, visiting their own territories only once or twice per year and leaving stewards to the business of local governance.
Some of Tollanara's current rulers no longer feel they are treated as equals among the subject kings, or are seeking to be treated as equals with the High King himself. Possibly even usurp the current High King and rule themselves. Then there is the matter of the citizens themselves- some groups, in numerous caers and cantrevs throughout the land, are unhappy being ruled by subject kings and a High King. Some would rather do away with kings altogether, forming Free Cities or Free Territories instead.
In the metropolitan city-state of Caer Athaund, the throne city of the current High King, human Geraint Lhanstead, spies from plotting cantrevs run riot. Some of Geraint's closest advisors may even be plotting against him. So where can he put his trust?
Loyal to the king is an order, comprised of unique individuals from all walks of life. This group is called King's Llaw. Meaning the Hand of the king, the Llaw, which has its base of operations at a fine fortress within Caer Athaund, is run by a small group of commanders who receive information from Geraint's council and then assemble teams of Llaw members to undertake certain tasks.
The tasks undertaken by the Llaw can vary greatly in nature, from protecting caravans of goods to and from Caer Athaund from marauders, to gathering information of plots against Geraint in faraway nations. They may act as couriers, assassins, investigators, bodyguards, spies, or any such thing the king needs.
Tollanara is a realm greatly divided almost straight down the middle by those who cling to their old agrarian ways and those who embrace and explore technological innovations, making Tollanara a mix of Renaissance and steampunk settings. Magic and monsters abound. Adventurers seeking renown and glory set out to prove themselves against forces that seek power for themselves.
Welcome to Winds of Tollanara, a Dungeons and Dragons-inspired storytelling rpg! In this game players create characters based on a number of traits or skills and develop the lives of their characters through writing their adventures. Characters will interact with one another as an adventuring party to tell their stories amid the backdrop of political unrest within the diverse kingdom of Tollanara.

if you have any questions or need help to get started!
Or, maybe, your day was in fact extraordinary, and you're kind of busy and, really, don't have time for any nonsense.
Unfortunately, all of that is gone.
Welcome to Moray Beach. Welcome to your fresh start.
|Moray Beach is a game set on a tropical island paradise populated entirely by displaced characters. Through some glitch of time and space, they have ended up here, and here they will stay for as long as the island wills it.|
A game for mature and seasoned players, it follows basic tenants of fun, respect, and honesty. Player anonymity is protected without question, and abusive and dramatic behaviour will not be tolerated. The goal is low moderation, high activity, and a place for all of us to just, well, play.
Whether you're looking for serious plot, horror or thriller storylines, or even just slice-of-life hijinks, Moray Beach will accommodate you.
The universe is in a fragile and weakened state, nobody knows why or how. With the fabric of space itself damaged, anomalous fissures are beginning to appear. Fissures that could crack and spread, collapsing reality and letting in things that should not exist in our dimension.
Cosmo the space-dog came through the fissures first and ended up at Knowhere. He cleaned up the neighborhood and took charge of things, becoming head of security and the unquestioned leader. Once Cosmo was happy with his progress he sent a communication to Peter Quill and the Guardians inviting them to use Knowhere as their base of operations. Cosmo taught them how to use the Celestial's abilities to watch the universe and teleport to anywhere in space and time instantaneously which increased their Galaxy saving capabilities tenfold.
Now it's up to the Guardians of the Galaxy to investigate these cracks in space and deal with whatever, or whoever, comes out next.
Knowhere is inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy comics, Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and the TV Shows Fringe and Lost. It is a pan-fandom, action-based roleplaying game that takes place at the edge of the universe. It deals in large universe-altering plots that is a collaborative effort among players. It allows one alternate universe to be created and played in for every canon universe represented. It is rated MA and all muns involved are over the age of 18.
Guardians of the Galaxy character holds open May 19th!

Without that, what remains? Where did we go wrong?
What don't we know?
HYPOTHESIS: The root of humanity's current crisis is an ill-fitting and over-reaching government which does not meet the needs of its people. We posit that by examining exceptional examples of humanity from a variety of worlds that we can identify the nature of mankind through its aspirations and responses to environmental stressors. Through these observations, the Wittgenstein Institute will determine the best methods of governing which will then be recommended to the International Armed Services Alliance for the Colonization of Novel Planets.
Experiments begin 15 May 2017
You! Yes, you! Are you tired of seeing the same ideas over and over? Do you like games with equal amounts of crack and catastrophe? Always had a soft spot for a man in tights? Well, sitteth thine rump down and harken to a tale. A story of a wondrous place, of fantasy, intrigue, and corsets! Dear God, so many corsets! Watchers, Please is an original high-fantasy game, where Game of Thrones meets Monty Python and the Holy Grail. At Watchers, Please, every player is a god - and every god is, well, kind of a douchebag.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, do come give us a look. And remember: save a horse. Ride a knight.
This a dressing room for horror, horror/scifi movies, horror, horror/scifi video games and horror, horror/scifi shows. It's, of course, for canon characters but original characters are just as welcomed. There may be some other shows that will be allowed, like the infamous superwholock fandom. So Sherlock will be allowed or Pretty little liars or whatever else you have a good reason for fitting into the theme of the community.
