Not that it matters; aliens, wormholes, and the endless starry void are now your everyday life, and you'd better get used to it. The PADD, communicator/universal translator, and conditional Federation citizenship (you are their problem, after all) issued to you after the reams of paperwork (very little of which was done on actual paper) were finished should help you adjust. If you can figure out how they work. Once you're here, what you do with your life is up to you. You can try to go home, if you want; maybe you have responsibilities there, and a conscience that won't let you abandon them. Or you can stay, grab life by the horns and run with it, leaping at opportunities as they come. You can even try to live a quiet life, if you want... Whichever way you choose to go, you won't be alone in this. There are others like you, displaced from their own homes in their own worlds, and in ever increasing numbers, all through the same phenomenon that brought you here. You may even see a familiar face or two. Who can say? It's all as the Prophets will...
