Welcome to the Napoleonic Wars.

The year is 1809. It is May. Armies are on the move to fight battles that will decide the fate of nations.

The Army:

Five months ago, the British were driven from the Peninsula, fighting every step of the way. But now... Now it is time to fight again.

Sir Arthur Wellesley is the last hope for the British army in Portugal. Can he take them from defeat to victory?

The Navy:

Four years ago, the British fleet defeated France and Spain in battle. In the hour of victory, their leader was killed. Britain gained control of the seas... or did she?

There are rumours that the French are rebuilding their broken fleet, wishing to rise again. Will they succeed?

This is a world at war. From battles at sea to skirmishes on land to the secret fact-finding missions of spies of both sides, there is danger at every turn. There is friendship and camaraderie, too. But the clouds are gathering.

~ Show the Colours is open to all role-players from beginners to intermediate.
~ We have been around for 2 1/2 years now, so we are not a flash in the pan.
~ We have a small but friendly group of players, based mainly in Europe and America.
~ We accept characters from most of the major AoS series and canons.
~ We also accept original characters and historical people.
~ A knowledge of the period is not essential, but you should be willing to learn.

...Find out what happens when people stop being pretending and the paranormal starts getting real

Ghost House: An on-line experiment turned television show on the SyFy network. A spin-off of a show that followed a group of ghost hunters with electronic equipment as they explored supposedly haunted locations, Ghost House is more personal, following the day-to-day lives of a select group of ghost hunting enthusiasts, psychics, and skeptics. They travel the Northeast and occasionally across the country seeking to prove whether a place is well and truly haunted, or if the hauntings are a fraud. Each week of Ghosthouse will take place over two weeks. A new location prompt will be posted every other Monday, and players will have two weeks to plan, play, and react to the events that take place on that particular visit. In-between the nights they spend in haunted places, characters lead their own lives, interacting with each other and various NPC characters. Your characters should have a real-life outside of ghost hunting - at least until the group gets picked up for television. Characters may generate other content in any way they deem fit. All of the members of the Ghost House team are expected to post blog updates, or other content (transcripts of vlogs, posts of twitter updates, etc.).
