The Liquid World!/Eden

redheadturkeyLike the other girl here, I thought I'd try something a bit more personal. I know there aren't many Metal Gear Solid themed comms out there, and ours is a bit different. Come take a look, I'm betting you'll like it.
The year is 2155.
Earth has colonies on other worlds, space travel has finally broken through, barriers have been broken everywhere, and finally-- even the Final Barrier-- Death.
Reincarnation is now an art form, no longer left to the capricious fates. Now there is a system in place, and the place of rebirth is the planet Genesis -- and the colony called Eden is where all the new arrivals wind up. No more do you have to go through the stages of birth and infancy to be reborn, to take that second chance - now you enter fully mature, in the prime of your new life, at the vital age of 21.
The human race is now sterile, infertile, and reproduction is for pleasure only. Birth was ruled to be Obsolete, childhood cruel, and adolescence a waste.
This is where Life returns. this is the Brave New World where the select 100 every year are allowed to make the exodus to Earth.
The Chosen.
Not everyone wants to leave Eden.
There are shops, casinos, entertainment of all sorts, the good and the bad alike return here.
When you arrive, you will come through the Tunnel ...and out to the Light.
Back to the mortal, leaving the soft and easy peace of the Afterlife regions. Perhaps you didn't want to come back, to incarnate. Too bad, because everyone must be recycled. Everyone must return. Otherwise, there will be no human race at all, because there's one flaw in all this, one mistake the Elders made, before they decreed themselves Obsolete and succumbed to the Return as well.
No one lives past 50.
Ever.
At 50, death comes, no matter if you are on Earth, one of the Colonies, Eden, or an alien whorehouse.
The Law of Return is Absolute.
