Original Character Dressing Room

Welcome to contrivers. contrivers is a dressing room made exclusively for original characters - that is, characters who are not from a published series of any medium. No application is required to play here and you are welcome to bring as few or many muses as you like. This community is open to original characters of all sorts to include fandom original characters. Your setting is simple: an average city with the usual accommodations known simply as Nexus. You have stores, arcades, schools, amusement parks and whatever else you might hope to find in a normal city. Whether your character is from here or some other place is entirely up to you. Keep in mind, this setting is generic, simple and completely ignore-able. For the sake of simplicity, this setting will not change regardless of what does or does not happen in your post. Of course, you are welcome to set your posts in any setting you would like. Whether or not you would like a string of continuity from one post to the other is entirely up to you and your fellow players.
