Welcome to the Nexus

	There was once a place where characters from across the known (and unknown) universes could gather, share their joy, their woes, their troubles, and have their questions answered. That place was the Nexus, meeting-place of the multiverse. Initially founded in 2004, the Great Fall of Livejournal RP signaled its end. That is until a few intrepid and nostalgic souls got together and decided to revive their favourite place to play. Welcome (back) to The Nexus! The place where our sagacious advice columnists from almost every fandom imaginable dedicate themselves to aiding, assisting, and advising you in every possible area of your life. No question is too small or insignificant. We'll help you grapple with everything from the vast and cosmic to the daily minutiae of existence. All questions are welcome, whether from real people or characters that you role play online. Note: actual real serious advice may be dispensed here. We really DO care. ANYONE can join this community, and anyone can participate in any thread at any time. Newcomers are welcome at any time to pitch in with advice and comments. Want to join the fun? The playground of the forgotten goddess.

Toto, this doesn't quite seem like Kansas anymore. The island is far from the world you remember. This isn't your home, this isn't even Earth from as far as you can tell. But why? How did you get here? It seems the whims of an unknown and forgotten goddess has decided to make you her plaything, dragging you from your world and timeline and placing you on an inescapable island. Welcome to Twisted Island, where anything can happen and it usually does. The island changes with the mood of the goddess. It’s her playground and you are one of the very many toys in it. But you’re not alone. There are others stuck on the island just like you and if you’re lucky the goddess didn't just steal you away, but friends and family you know as well. Best idea though? Make friends, powerful friends. Make sure there are people to watch your back because when the island starts to change, you're going to need every little bit of help you can get. Will you survive, or will you give up and break under the pressure? Apply and become one of the many playthings that the goddess loves to toy with on Twisted Island.
